Here are few things that you must know or take care of before admitting your kids to school. How to Get Logarithm of a Number in Excel

The LOG function in Excel is used to calculate the logarithm of a given number to a specified base.

The syntax for the LOG function is as follows: LOG(number, [base])

Where,

  • number: This is the positive real number for which you want to calculate the logarithm.
  • base: This is the base of the logarithm. If this argument is not specified, then the default base of 10 is used.

The LOG function returns the logarithm of the given number to the specified base. For example, to calculate the logarithm of numbers stored in D column to the base numbers stored in E, you would use the following formula:
