Here are few things that you must know or take care of before admitting your kids to school. tasklist [/s computer] [/u domain\user [/p password]] [/fo {TABLE|LIST|CSV}] [/nh] [/fi filter] [/m module]


Where,

  • /s computer: Specifies the name or IP address of a remote computer on which to display the list of processes. If this parameter is not specified, the list is displayed for the local computer.
  • /u domain\user: Specifies the user name and domain or computer name of an account with administrative privileges on the remote computer. If this parameter is not specified, the command runs using the credentials of the currently logged-in user.
  • /p password: Specifies the password for the account specified by the /u parameter. If this parameter is not specified, the user is prompted to enter the password.
  • /fo: Specifies the output format to use. The default is "TABLE", but other options include "LIST" and "CSV".
  • /nh: Specifies that the column headers should not be displayed in the output.
  • /fi filter: Specifies a filter to apply to the list of processes. For example, /fi "imagename eq notepad.exe" would only display processes with the image name "notepad.exe".
  • /m module: Specifies the name of a DLL or executable module to display information about. Only processes that have the specified module loaded will be displayed.
