Keyboard Shortcut key and its function, you can use this shortcut key in command prompt
Ctrl+C (or Ctrl+Insert): You can Copy selected text.
Ctrl+V (or Shift+Insert): You can Paste selected text.
Ctrl+Backspace: if you typed 10 words in line in cmd, you can delete word by word with Ctrl+Backspace
F1: You can paste the last used command character by character.
F3: You can paste the recently used command.
F6 or Ctrl+Z: if you have to type ^Z in command prompt you can press F6
F7: when you press F7, you will see the list of all executed command, you can select with up and down arrow key and execute again.
F8: You can pastelastly used commands, keep on pressing and you will see 1 by 1, it will paste all last used commands.
Shift+Left Arrow: Select text character by character in backward direction.
Shift+Right Arrow: Select text character by character in forward direction.
Shift+UP Arrow:Select text line by line in upward direction.
Shift+Down Arrow:Select text line by line in downward direction.
UP Arrow Key: To paste last used command in forward direction.
Down Arrow Key: To paste last used command in backward direction.
F9: Let's say you typed 10 commands, now you want to type 6th command again after 10th, just type F9 key and it will ask you, Enter command number then you can type 6 and Enter to Execute 6th command again.
Ctrl+M: It will take you to Mark Mode cmd, you can check title on top.
Ctrl+A: It will take you to Select Mode cmd, you can check title on top.
Ctrl+Z: It will take you back to Administrator or User Mode cmd, you can check title on top.
Ctrl+Home key: if you have typed many command and you get down many pages in command prompt, this key will take you on top.
Ctrl+End or Page down key: Again if you want to get at the bottom you do not have to scroll with mouse, just press Page down key.
Ctrl+Up arrow: You can scroll in upward direction in cmd.
Ctrl+Down arrow: You can scroll in downward direction in cmd.
Home key or Ctrl+Left Arrow Key: Suppose you typed dir, now you want to type something before dir, you can take pointer to letter d with home key, you can even do this with Left arrow key (character by character).
End key or Ctrl+Right Arrow Key: Let's say you typed dir, you pointer is at letter d, you can move pointer at the end of command pressing End key, you can to this with Right arrow key (character by character).
Alt Key+ F7: whatever command you typed previously in cmd, it will delete all history.
Tab Key: Suppose you are inside c:\> drive, if you press Tab key, it will automatically get the folder name from c drive, press continuously for more folder name in c drive, if you want different drive or directory folder, change drive or directory in cmd then press Tab key.
Esc Key: if you typed something wrong, you can remove all at once by Esc Key
Ctrl+A: You can select the text of current line, press Ctrl+A twice to select all the cmd text.
